Longevity + vita (Latin for "life") = lon-JEHV-iht-uh
"Partners" reflects our philosophy: Longevita works alongside you and your physician to deliver collaborative, evidence-based care rather than a one-size-fits-all plan. Growth and expansion are on the horizon, and like-minded dietitians are welcome to submit applications for future consideration.

Michelle is a Registered Dietitian (RD), which can also be referred to as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) — the highest credentialed standard in nutrition care.
"Nutritionist" is a largely unregulated title that anyone can use. RDs have completed an accredited degree, 1,200+ hours of supervised clinical training, passed a national board examination, and must maintain ongoing professional education. This qualifies Michelle to provide medical nutrition therapy — the evidence-based, individualized care that clients with health concerns deserve.

Longevita is a private-pay practice. No referrals, no prior authorizations, no surprise costs.
Upon request, we provide a superbill with the appropriate diagnostic and billing codes for you to submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend calling the member services number on your insurance card to ask about out-of-network dietitian benefits before your first appointment.
HSA and FSA funds can be used to pay for nutrition services. You can pay directly using your HSA/FSA card or submit receipts for reimbursement. Some plans may require a Letter of Medical Necessity from your physician.
If our rates present a barrier, please ask about sliding scale options.

This varies widely, and we'll give you an honest estimate at your first consultation.
Some clients simply need one session to confirm they're on the right track. Many meet their goals in two or three. Others with more complex needs, or those who value ongoing accountability, benefit from a longer relationship.
What sets Longevita apart: our goal is to equip and empower you, not to fill our calendar.

Not at all. The portal offers a convenient, secure space to view your care plan, schedule visits, and access resources, but many clients prefer a lower-tech approach. We are happy to coordinate everything directly and can email or text links to virtual visits if you prefer.
